1. Known for cruelty and callousness in published reports in the Chicago media. Blames the elderly for their deaths by fire in building it manages:
Investigation into fatal fire in Lincoln Park continues
2 dead, 3 injured
Eighty-seven-year old Asli Azizi was found in a hallway. She died from a heart attack apparently due to stress from the fire. Said Steven Levy of Sudler Property Management. "This is a lesson for people."

Lincoln Park high-rise fire kills two
The building is operated by Sudler Property Management. Some complained that fire alarms failed to sound in the building. Linda Maccarty, a long-time resident, added that there was no preparation for an emergency by Sudler. “They hand out evacuation plans, but there are no fire drills.”

2. With the tactics of a demogague, blames rising assessments at condo buildings in Chicago on the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, which happened in New York City and Washington D.C., close to 1,000 miles away, in another part of the U.S.
Most buildings have seen expenses rise lately. High insurance premiums are the big culprit. "Insurance rates have gone through the roof," says Steven Levy, president at Sudler Property Management, LLC, a Chicago-based firm that manages 120 condominium and co-op buildings.
Mr. Levy figures insurance rates have increased 40%-100% in the past year mainly because of the risks associated with potential terrorist attacks. Of course, highrise buildings have had the biggest jump in insurance premiums.

3. Deadbeat. Court seizes money from Sudler's bank accounts:

4. Negligent: Apparently refuses to pay taxes.

5. Cheats contractors out of money -- until they take the matter to court.

6. Bad for business. Gets its clients, condominium associations, into legal troubles in Housing Court, apparently, for mismanagement (i.e., slumlord behavior):
City of Chicago v. 1116-20 N LAKE SHORE Drive Condominium Association and Sudler (1998)

7. Hypocrites. Despite refusing to pay its own bills, in a timely fashion, as demonstrated by the above-cited court cases, litigates repeatedly against individuals throughout Chicago for monies allegedly owed:

Conclusion
So, to conclude. The assessments at your building in Chicago in 2008 are going up because of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York City and Washington D.C. ...if you die in a fire, it is a lesson to you....shut up, or Sudler will sue you....but Sudler will not pay taxes or other monies owed, well, because they said so.
How on earth does Sudler keep any clients with this track record?
Fire Sudler -- before it's too late.
